Gator Chili

Ingredients

1 pound ground gator
2 15 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
2 14 1/2 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
2 14 1/2 oz. cans diced Mexican tomatoes
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 big bell pepper, chopped
1 big onion, chopped
2 T. hot Mexican chili powder
1 minced garlic clove
3 T dry mustard
2 T basil
1 t. oregano
2 chopped jalapenos
1 bottle Heineken beer

Directions



Brown gator meat in a big pot, then add everything else, bring to a boil then simmer for at least an hour. We like Tabasco and cheese on it, too.The next day for leftovers (the best part, right?!) Add another bottle of Heineken to it then reheat.

I use the same recipe for venison chili, but use Yuengling beer...
