gourmet venison "mac n cheese"

Ingredients

12oz box of rigatoni(preferred but any old noodle, besides spaghetti type, will do

1lb ground venison

3 cups heavy cream

10 slices of american cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 panco breadcrumbs

1 cup matchsticked carrots

1 green bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

1/2 yellow onion

5-6 grape tomatoes

1T minced garlic

salt and pepper

white pepper

Directions

start off by cooking off rigatoni.

in large saute pan add ground venison to a med heat. jullienne onion and bell peppers and add to venison along with garlic and the carrots. continue to saute.

in separate sauce pan bring cream to a simmer with a little salt and a pinch of white pepper. besure NOT to let the cream boil over!!!! once simmering, wisk in the cheese slice by slice until full melted and incorporated.add more cheese if desired, I am from wisconsin so I add lots! remove from heat. the cheese and cream mixture burns easy to the bottom of the pan so beware and stir constantly.

in  cassarole dish, mix together the sauted burger and veggie mix  to the cooked pasta. pour cheese mixture over the top. top with cheddar cheese. sprinkle panco bread crumbs over the top of cheddar. place in 350 degree over for 10 minutes or until bread crumbs start to brown.
