Pineapple Ginger Pheasant over a Wonton Salad

Ingredients

Ingredients:  

1 Jar of Sportsman’s Gold Pineapple Ginger marinade

2 whole pheasant cut in half

1 cup fried wonton

1/4c. Marcona Almonds

1 fresh pineapple sliced whole

 ¼ c. shredded carrots

 1 C, Honey Ginger salad Dressing

  4c. chopped Romaine Lettuce

  1 roma Tomato sliced up

  1 Start Fruit sliced

 

Directions

 Directions:  Put Pheasant halves in a large Ziploc bag and add 1 jar of pineapple Ginger marinade. Let sit for about 5-6 hrs with all of the air out of the bag. Once the pheasant is ready, heat up the grill and wait for all of the coals to turn white or if using you’re using a gas grill (500 degrees). The place pineapple, star fruit and Tomatoes on the grill. Cook till semi soft or until grill marks are noticeable. Then place the pheasant on for about 10-15minutes. Cook till about 155 degrees place it on the pan and let it rest COVERED for about 8-10 minutes. This will still cook the pheasant, yet keeping it extremely moist at the same time. Then, place lettuce carrots Marcona almonds, roasted pineapple, tomatoes, and star fruit and wontons on plate. Drizzle over your favorite Honey ginger dressing and serve.

 

SERVES:  1-2 people
